Senegal fans celebrate World Cup victory by cleaning the stadium

We’re all aware of the bullsh*t that sometimes goes on at football matches around the world. From the racist fans of teams like Chelsea in England to the stabby ones of teams like Napoli in Italy, bad news is the norm when it comes to fans of the world game. Thankfully, the Senegalese fans are doing their bit to make up for it.

If you’ve ever been to a live sporting contest, you’re probably aware of the copious amounts of sh*t that are left behind after the final whistle. As the thousands of fans file dutifully out of the stadium, there are usually cups, bottles, food wrappers, programs, pamphlets, and small children left behind for the cleaners to throw in the skip.

So after Senegal defeated Poland in a 2-1 upset at the World Cup, plenty were surprised to see the musical, colourful and wonderful supporters of the African team hang back to pick up their own rubbish and clean up after themselves.

You’ve gotta bloody love this. I mean, what you’re looking at is a whole bunch of sheilas and wankers who were clearly raised right. And they’re bringing a touch of class to this World Cup in more ways than one.

Once they’d shocked the Poles with their 2-1 victory, the fans and players alike danced the happy dance – and you can hear the joyful beat of their drums as you watch these legends clean up the massive mess.

Of course, the Senegalese weren’t the only ones. The Japanese fans did the same thing. They were filmed cleaning up the sh*t they’d left behind after their victory over Colombia.

Final thought: This sort of sh*t is bloody grouse. It’s so simple, but it’s something you hardly ever see – in any sport. It’s a real sign of good manners, good faith, and good bloody upbringing. Of course, it might put the cleaners out of business. Has anyone thought to ask them if they like it?
