Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell turn into each other on TV

When you’re interviewing Will Ferrell or Ryan Reynolds, you’ve gotta be prepared for the unexpected. Yeah, nah, by this stage, we all know that Reynolds loves to f**k with people, and Ferrell just loves to weird people out. So, with the two scheduled to appear at the same time on different shows: Reynolds on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Ferrell on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, it’s only fitting the two of them decided to take things to the next level.

If you’ve seen video from either of the two appearances already, you’ll know what we’re talking about, but if you haven’t, the two smartarses decided to swap places. Yeah, nah, they fair dinkum just decided to turn up in place of each other.

It all kicked off when Kimmel introduced Reynolds and bloody Ferrell walked out, explaining that Reynolds couldn’t make it. “I got a text from him,” he said. “He said he was running late, which usually means he’s not coming and he’s asked if I could fill in.”

Meanwhile, over on The Tonight Show, Reynolds was pulling a similar stunt. Fallon introduced Ferrell, and the Deadpool star came out in his stead. He explained, “I just put the kids to bed, I was walking the dog around the block, Will called, said he was running a little late, asked me if I’d jump in for him, and I said, ‘Anything for you, Will.’”

Couple days ago, Will Ferrell was supposed to show up to The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

Ryan Reynolds walked out instead and gave comedy gold for 8 minutes.

As you can imagine, fans of the two shows bloody loved it. The fact that both of them managed to promote the others movies to a pretty reasonable standard only makes things better. You can watch both videos below.
