Mum who faceplants and flashes undies at school sports carnival speaks out

Maaaate, we don’t reckon it’s a stretch to say that the old-fashioned faceplant in public is probably a pretty big fear for most people. When that s**t happens, and it’s coupled with the dreaded undie reveal, you’ve just gotta f**ken own it. Fortunately, Katie Hannaford, a pommy mum has done just that. After stacking it bigtime and flashing all the kids at her daughter’s sports carnival, she’s come out and had a laugh about it!

Yeah, we dunno if you’ve seen this one yet, but it’s f**ken gold. Bloody Katie’s only gone arse over tit right in front of her daughter’s whole school. Fair dinkum, it’s a proper stack, and it couldn’t have been more embarrassing.

It all happened at her daughter’s school sports day. We’ll let Katie explain it, though. After all, it’s her story. “I’m not sporty at all, but [my daughter] kept begging me,” she said. “In the end I agreed to the race – I knew I’d come last.”

And that’s okay. The fashion in which she came last, though, was bloody brutal. The runners take off. The runners find their stride. Katie goes down like a sack of spuds and her dress comes up. As a result, the kids all get a cheeky eyeful.

“I just tripped over my own feet – I think my body was just moving too fast for my legs! I’m so clumsy, I’m always falling over. I was humiliated at the time, but it is what it is! I flashed my underwear which is obviously embarrassing, but you just have to own it.”

And that’s what she’s done, sharing the video online and saying, “When the kids got more at sports day than they were expecting! Haha. If you can’t laugh at yourself then what’s life about ay! Sorry kiddo’s and anyone else watching!”

Looking back at it now, she reckons it was the funniest thing she’s ever done. “Looking back, it’s hilarious – definitely the funniest thing I’ve ever done in my life!”
