This infinite chocolate trick is a f*@#en trip out
All right, if we’re completely honest, this one might just be a blast from the past for more than a few of you. We are, of course, talking about the infinite chocolate trick, and if you’re anything like us, you never quite figured out how your uncle did it. Deadset, we were certain the dodgy old b**tard was magic, but now, finally, we have an answer. By extension, you do too, ya lucky buggers. Check it out…
Yeah, so first of all, we better get the disclaimer out there, if you don’t want to become a tubby bugger, a chunky mother, or a fat little f**ker, this trick might not be for you. If, on the other hand, you’re all about smashing as much chocolate as you can, you’re in for a treat. An infinite treat!
If you’ve seen it done, you’ll know that the bloody magician with the knife cuts a few expert slices across the bar: one diagonal one from the top to the bottom of the second row and then three more that follow the natural lines of the block.
From there, the sleight of hand is bloody immense. There’s a bit of a shuffle, a bit of hey look, what’s over there? and a general rejigging of the goods. At the end of all that, there’s an extra cube of chocolate up for grabs. Honestly, f**ken smash that before anyone notices.
Unfortunately, despite your Uncle Gary’s claims, this bad boy is just a bit of trickery and it’s not actual magic. Yeah, we know, what a bloody rort! Turns out the prick was just eating your chocolate – and you thought it was bloody fun.
Apparently, all the cutting displaces enough chocolate to make up for the volume of the missing chunk. You can watch the video to see it all for yourself, but you’d better get your uncle on the phone and tell the c**t he owes you a block of Cadbury.
Final thought: Depending on your perspective, we’ve either shattered your illusions about this old-as-the-hills classic or we’ve given you a bloody bonza way to stooge an extra block out of all the chocolate you buy for the fam-bam from now on. Let us know which way you fall in the Facebook comments.
