Daughter Suffers Stage Fright During Ballet Performance But Dad Comes To The Rescue

Anyone with daughters knows you’d do anything for them. If you want to see that in theory in action then read on, my friend, because the Dad in this video goes above and beyond to help his daughter beat her stage-fright and make like a swan-princess.

When the footage begins, you can see a few little cherubs making their way onto the stage for what is no doubt an early foray into the performing arts. Led by their instructor, most of the girls seem to be having a good time, but there’s one young lass who would rather be somewhere else.

While the other kids perform and the instructor tries to encourage the little darling, Dad’s spider-sense kicks into overdrive and he knows it’s time to drop everything. OK, maybe that’s a bad choice of words because he clearly doesn’t drop everything.

Marc Daniels, the supportive father, busts a move and runs to his daughter’s aid while still holding his other little angel in his arms. With his help, his daughter decides that nah, f**k it, she can do this sh*t.

Daniels, a barrister, said, “Bella was very emotional and needed hugs from her daddy. Despite having a tantrum, I could tell she wanted to stay on stage and I didn’t want to discourage her before the big performance by making her be the only one to come off.”

You’ve gotta love this. In a world where plenty of parents might have been embarrassed or hooked Bella off the stage, Dad teaches the little bugger some resilience and gives her a night she’ll never forget!

“I walked on holding Suri,” he said, “and stood next to her, trying to help build her confidence – I told her I loved her and that she’s an amazing dancer. I asked if she wanted to dance with daddy and she nodded, so I thought I’d join in. I’ve practiced with them at home on many occasions so it wasn’t unfamiliar to me.”

Final thought: Bloody good sh*t, Dad. You’re a top bloke and the whole world knows it. Your effort is fully worthy of a couple of extra stamps on the man card and a beer from each of your mates.
