Batman turns up to a crime scene in British Columbia offering to help

Batman walks a pretty f**ken fine line in the world of superheroes. Whether you’re Marvel, DC, or even bloody Image, pretty much everyone agrees that the caped crusader is rad as f**k.  He’s got pathos practically bleeding out of every orifice, he’s a tough son of a bitch and his moral code is one that should be admired. But note that we said ‘practically everyone’ loves him. The Kelowna police in British Columbia are, to be fair, pretty f**ken indifferent. Check out the video down below to see Batman turned away from a situation the police have already got under control…

For this one, we’re heading to Canada, the land of good manners and etiquette. So while we joke that Batman gets told to f**k off in this video, we really mean he was gently told that his services wouldn’t be required – most probably because the police didn’t feel like imposing on him. Maybe.

Anyway, the video was shot by Melissa Parent. She posted on Facebook that:

“We were driving home from a friend’s house Saturday evening when a police car pulled out in front of us and blocked the intersection. He was followed by five more police cars, so we pulled over at a safe distance to see what was going on. Before we knew it, the cops had their guns drawn and Batman came out of nowhere, parked in front of us in his black Dodge truck covered in the Batman logo and sprung into action.”

F**ken imagine that. You’d be pretty bloody excited to see Batman kick some real-life arse, wouldn’t ya? Anyway, as you know, he’s turned away. One of the local cops told their local media that, “Situations like this are dynamic and subject to change very quickly: the presence of ‘Batman’ or anyone else is an unwanted distraction and foolish as they are placing themselves at risk.”

Final thought: To be honest, that’s fair enough. All the money in the world is still not worth a serious injury to yourself or a deeply regrettable situation for others. Better off sticking to the video games, comic books and larping.
