Defense attorney left gobsmacked at his client’s wild accusations against the judge

Even though they cop it pretty hard at times, criminal attorneys must have one of the most interesting jobs there are. Don’t get us wrong, though, we’re not talking about the money or the prestige. Yeah, nah, we’re talking strictly about the s**t they must hear coming out of people’s mouths at times. Deadset, if you’ve ever been trying to get your mate out of trouble while he keeps running his mouth, you might have an inkling of what it seems to be like for the attorney in this amusing video that’s doing the rounds on Twitter…

Right, obviously, there’s a big elephant in the room here. From what we can gather, the defendant in this video is accused of some pretty bad s**t, and by all accounts, there’s a wealth of evidence and testimony that doesn’t look good for him. We’re not here to talk about that.

Yeah, nah, we’re focusing solely on the defendant’s claims as he has a crack at the judge, and the way his attorney just seems to be like, ‘Oh for f**k’s sake, did you really just say that?”

Anyway, when we join the video, it straight away becomes obvious that there’s some verbal jousting going on between the judge and the defendant, Brice Rhodes.

“It’s my right to speak on what I’ve got to speak on,” Rhodes says. “I don’t know if you’ve got some type of sexual relationship going on (with the prosecutor) but I’m definitely gonna speak my mind.”

It’s about this time that the attorney in question takes off his glasses and blinks several times. You can see he’s just like, “Yeah, nah, this kid’s gonna speak his mind. I’ve tried to stop him, I really have.” Still, he has a pretty wide grin on his face. It’s not like he’s not enjoying it.

Only seconds later, while Rhodes – a man accused of some pretty f**ken gruesome stuff – says, “Are you some type of racist?” he asks. “Are you a secret Ku Klux Klan member? Is that what you really are?”

By this stage, the attorney’s just like, “F**k, I really need a coffee. Or a beer. Or ten whiskeys. Just anything really. S**t, can someone hook me up? Put an end to this? That’d be great.”

Final thought: Yeah, nah, as we said, the accusations are pretty severe, but in isolation and robbing that video of its context, the attorney’s reactions are pretty f**ken gifworthy moments. If someone wants to get on that, and hook us up, it’d be great. Thanks, ya legends.
