Forget all the bad news, here’s the best f@*#en news of 2019 in visual summary!

By the time the end of the year – and Santa and his massive sack – come calling, it’s a pretty safe bet that loads of places are publishing rewinds, look-backs and best-of lists. For the most part, they’re bloody great fun to look at and get nostalgic over, and sometimes you even get treated to some great stuff you might have missed. We reckon that’s exactly the case with these bloody awesome visuals about the best news of 2019!

These brilliant feel-good news snippets come to us courtesy of The Happy Broadcast, an awesome little website created by Mauro Gatti. Seriously, the images are a great counter-balance to the multitude of bad news stories that bombard us every day.

When asked about the site, Gatti says, “I’m honestly fed up with all the bad news everywhere. I am not a journalist or an influencer, but I want to use my art to spread some positivity. I want to create something positive as an anti-venom to the vitriolic rhetoric that pervades our media.”

We don’t know about you blokes and sheilas, but we reckon that’s a noble-as-f**k thing to aspire to. After all, it’s no secret that all the war, corruption, mind-blowingly stupid politics and racism can really take their toll on you.

Gatti continues by saying, “I illustrate and share positive news from around the world in the hope that it brings you some happiness and inspires you to spread some good news yourself!

And seriously, having a look at these, there really are some awesome things happening in the world that should give us reason to see a brighter future. Sure, the news is saturated by stories of corrupt old white men letting the countries their supposed to be leading burn, succumb to right-wing politics, or self-destruct with incredibly short-sighted decisions, but there’s good s**t happening too.

Remember that next time you think there’s no hope.

Final thought: We bloody love the simple goal behind this. No matter how s**t things are, there are always reasons to feel good.
