Australia has been named as the next filming location for new Marvel movie

If you’ve seen Thor: Ragnarok, you might or might not know that it was filmed right here in Ozzyland. Deadset, areas of Brisbane and the Gold Coast in Queensland had to shut down for a few days so that the mighty Thor and his Asgardian pals could run amok and make one of the most fun movies in Marvel’s ever-expanding catalogue. And, although they’re going to Sydney this time, they must have enjoyed it. They’re coming back for an as yet unnamed film…

Apparently, we’ve got a pretty f**ken grouse set-up for filming movies here in the land of Oz.

It may or may not have something to do with the awesome tax breaks we provide foreign film studios, but really, who f**ken cares?

The fact we’re getting more Marvel is the big news and the fact they’re just about ready to start filming means that bubble of superhero movies everyone keeps saying is going to burst is still going strong.

Of course, the obvious question people want the answer to is what f**ken movie?

Well, we don’t know yet.

We know that Marvel still has a bunch of movies scheduled to be made in the near future and they include Black Widow, Guardians of the Galaxy 3, Thor 4, Black Panther 2, The Eternals, the Doctor Strange sequel, Shang-Chi and Blade.

As it stands, speculation regarding which film Marvel will film in Oz seems to be focusing on Shang-Chi. If you don’t know who that is, now’s your chance to Google the c**t so you can make out that you liked him before he was huge.

If you can’t be arsed, he’s another Kung Fu dude.

Marvel originally whipped him up when they couldn’t get the rights to the Kung Fu television series.

If you’re really keen on researching him, knock yourself out, but if you’re like us and you just want to see it when it comes out, only time will tell.

Anyway, talking about whatever bloody movie Marvel will film here, the NSW Arts Minister Don Harwin said, “Securing this latest production will bring over $150 million of new international investment, create 4700 new Australian jobs and use the services of around 1200 local businesses.”

Final thought: Really, whatever the f**ken movie is, there’s a pretty safe bet it’ll be grouse as f**k. Also, if it does happen to be Blade, then I’m gonna be stoked. I loved that c**t way before he was cool. Ah, f**k it, who am I kidding. Blade was always one of the coolest characters in the canon. Also, how about another Punisher movie, Marvel, ya big legends?
