Ozzy Guy Tells X-rated Joke During Cyclone Interview, Reporter Goes Bright Red
If you haven’t heard yet there was a huge fucking cyclone that recently hit the East coast of Australia. It’s named Debbie, it was absolutely massive and did a heap of damage to everything in its path. For those that don’t know, a cyclone is a just another name for a hurricane, but ‘cyclone’ is what we call them down in the southern hemisphere.
However we here in the land of Oz are pretty tough blokes and sheilas and we don’t really take ‘life threatening’ very seriously. Not only do we have animals that will kill you instantly, the weather is also something you have to keep an eye on. Droughts and bush fires are just a part of everyday Australian life.
Aussies are a pretty tough bunch though. Not only do we have a laugh about potentially life ending situations, we make fun of them. Cyclone Debbie is no different. A lot of residents in the path of the cyclone decided stay in their homes, disregarding advice to evacuate, or risk death. Some folks just think it’s a bit of wind, so there’s no real reason to move, right?
Well there’s a town that’s right in the path of Debbie called Bowen. Bowen is a small town with folks as tough as rocks. Film crews are braving the storm, trying to get good footage and interviewing the remaining people about the incoming cyclone.
In the quest to bring us a 24 hour news cycle reporters rely on interviews with locals who sometimes won’t play ball.
There was this Seven reporter’s interview with one Bowen local, cut short after just one response.
“I’ve finally met Debbie. I’ve heard about Debbie doing other things [reference to Debbie does Dallas], but now she’s giving Bowen a blow job,” he managed to say before the reporter yanked his microphone away from his face and tried to pretend that the interview didn’t happen.
