The bloke who made the glitter-bomb has now helped clean undrinkable water

G’day, ya glorious f**kknuckles. We’d like to start this one off by saying we hope you’re keeping your fluids up and that we hope you’ve got the freshest cleanest water available to you. The reason we say that is simple. Every day, tonnes of f**kers in third-world countries have to drink water you wouldn’t deign to piss in, simply because there’s no other option. Sanitation is naught. Plumbing is worse. But, the Glitter-Bomb Dude is showing how a new invention can transform that issue and save millions of lives!

The Glitter-Bomb Dude’s real name is Mark Rober, and he seems like a pretty cool guy. As he explains in his video, his science background makes it lots of fun for him to create ridiculous experiments, but as he makes only 12 videos a year, he likes to do something philanthropic every now and then.

In the past, he’s looked at cheap devices that can diagnose malaria in areas where it’s badly needed. This time, he’s teamed up with P&G, who are trying to get children everywhere safe drinking water. These clever b**tards have invented a powder that can clean large amounts of deadly water and make it drinkable in just moments.

Although he manages to hang out with Bill Gates and talk about why we should help those in need, the real joy comes when he’s collecting and drinking some pretty f**ken filthy water with a bunch of kids. He fair dinkum puts ‘em to work too.

He gets the little pricks in gumboots and sends them into the muck to collect a few bottles. When he adds the P&G powder to the mix and the kids watch it work it’s science-magic, you can see how bloody stoked they are. And then it’s time to drink water from a dead opossum infested basin.

Final thought: Bloody Mark makes some good points in this video. If we’ve got the means, we should all be philanthropists. You don’t have to do much, but considering how cost-efficient even a little bit can be, it’s nice to think that if each one of us affected just one life for the better, we’d massively improve the s**t out of the world.
