These Inspirational Quotes Generated By AI Turned Out Hilariously Wrong
Once upon a time, we would think of computers as emotionless, useful pieces of equipment that would only respond to commands we put into them.
But over time, programs have been developed to allow computers to learn and respond to a greater array of cues thus giving them the ability to display positively human traits – as batsh*t crazy as they can be!
Check out the below video from Google’s DeepMind artificial intelligence company. The geniuses over in Silicon Valley have gone and developed an AI that has managed to learn how to walk, run, jump, and climb without any prior guidance.
The result is impressive, but sort of resembles a drunk limbo champion after leg day.
When it comes to communicating knowledge and guidance, programs such as Siri, or Ask Google are phenomenal in picking up what you say and guessing your next thought processes. But this knowledge has been generated based on what other people have asked and the computers have ‘learned’ to pre-empt what you’re going to say next.
But let’s take another element of human behaviour: philosophy. The great minds over time have postulated over life and spat out things like:
Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something. – Plato
Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect – Mark Twain
All of the women on ‘The Apprentice’ flirted with me — consciously or unconsciously. That’s to be expected. A sexual dynamic is always present between people, unless you are asexual. – Donald Trump
But what about if we give this task to the computers? The result at times may hit the mark, but by scouring the web for possible combinations of words on particular subjects, the results don’t exactly hit the mark. Check out some of the bloody hilarious reflections on life below.
