Flight Attendant Brought To Tears By Passenger’s Appalling Dummy Spit

Ryanair, a self-described budget airline based in the UK, offers fares which aren’t much more expensive than what some of us here in Australian pay just to take a bus to work and back every week. To access these lower prices, you need to do a little extra work yourself.

This video comes out of Brussels Airport Belgium, with the guy acting like a complete tosser clearly thinking he’s in the right, even posting this encounter online. After being told that he would have to pay an extra €50 (about AUD$75) for a new boarding pass, he eventually brought the Check In Attendant, Sabrina, to tears.

The old mantra “The Customer Is Always Right” is unfortunately ingrained into the psyche of far too many people. So ingrained that people working in customer service have shared thousands of stories about shitty customers on the frequently hilarious notalwaysright.com.

Clearly, this man doesn’t understand the meaning of ‘budget airline’. He seems to be the kind of wanker who would walk into Big W and expect a David Jones level of customer service. In this case, all the man needed to do to avoid the extra €50 fee, was print his own boarding pass. Something that he could’ve done prior to reaching the service desk, up to 2 hours before checking in.

Even other customers came to Sabrina’s defence, which resulted in this asshole hurling a tirade of abuse at one of them.

Ryanair are basically the Ikea of airlines – being that extra bit cheaper by getting you to assemble it yourself (just the boarding pass, not the plane thankfully). That’s the way these things work. If you want someone to hold your hand through the whole process, then you don’t go through a budget airline. Simple as that.

Just about anyone who’s worked in customer service will know that there will always come a time, when you’re torn between what the customer thinks they should get, and what your actual company policy is. In this case, Sabrina is an absolute champ for not caving to the demands of this dickhead and upholding her company’s policy. Don’t be this guy.
